Josh Massoud (via Yahoo and Twitter...sorry i cant copy the link) has reported that Greg Eastwood will undergo a heart operation monday to correct an irregular heart beat that has kept him off pre season training for the past two weeks after suffering dizzy spells and faintness.
If successful he should be back training by end of the week.

Hope he is okay.

On another note, he can't afford to miss any training, infact he should be training his arse off!

I hope he gets better soon and gets his body right.

Does this report mean the poster who said they had been doing F45 with Eastwood and Pritchard was just talking shit?

He's on holidays with his kids according to his Insta

I got no idea if he was talking shit or not but if you were having heart problems I wouldn’t be telling random people at the gym.

Didn’t the same poster say Eastwood was having health problems with vertigo etc?
Looks like he was spot on
A professional athlete joining F45 is just strange especially when he can get personalised training for free. If he was having health problems it makes more sense to take it easy before preseason training begins

Canterbury forward Greg Eastwood has taken time away from training to be treated for an irregular heartbeat.

Eastwood has seen specialists about the setback and is scheduled to undergo a procedure this week to rectify the issue. The former Kiwi international is hoping to return to training before Christmas.

The 30-year-old has no history of heart problems, but experienced symptoms including dizziness and faintness on his return to pre-season training. The setback comes just months after he was sidelined with a meniscus tear in his knee.

Eastwood has been a constant in what will be a new-look Canterbury pack next season. James Graham and Sam Kasiano have left for St George Illawarra and Melbourne respectively, making room for the arrival of Aaron Woods.

The former Bronco, who celebrated his 100th game for the Bulldogs in his last game, is off contract at the end of next season.

I think he said he hasn’t been around the gym because he was having health problems.

Barba used to train at my old gym when he played for us & you’d regularly see Gallen, Nightingale & quite a few more there quite often out of training hours.
It’s good he’s doing extra on his fitness because he gets hammered on here for being fat

Gallen used to train at a north sydney gym. Used to do a lot of powerlifting stuff.

What is f45 exactly? I see them popping up everywhere?

Wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.

But I'm really surprised the above article says he played 100 games for us, I would have thought it was much more.
