Great little video of adam elliots brother

Totally agree, from what I have seen and heard Adam is all talk and little action when it comes to community work and this was before covid bubbles.

To see Adam being nominated year after year for the ken stephenson award each year a sad state of the club if he is it. And every time they say he has developed relationships with special schools I laugh, he visits once, gets photos for the website and is never seen again

Sadly Adam's brother has become a positive publicity prop and a reason for people to like him after he stuffed up again and again.

I dare say that the bulk of what you know about what Elliott does off the field is the negative crap that comes out in the media. I know that plenty of players do a lot of work in the community that doesn't get into the headlines. Good news doesn't sell as well as scandal and I'm sure a lot of the players don't do it for the headlines anyway.

On a positive note it was great to see how happy James was about getting to do this. Really did bring a smile to my face seeing him get to do it. And his interview here was good to see too.

It's a touching moment every time Elliott brings his brother out and a constant reminder of how we take footy and life too seriously sometimes.

My thoughts are with those who have kids/family/friends with autism and I could only imagine the strength and toughness it would take to work through that. I wish you guys the best and hope your loved ones that have autism can find a healthy balance in their lives..

Our family have had problems with my younger brother who has severe anxiety and paranoid episodes etc which can be very tough for him and all of us.. But it would pale in comparison to what families that deal with autism deal with on a daily basis.

THIS is what we wanna see in our threads people some raw real shit and some love for special kids and their parents and family members..which well to put it mildly makes the shitstorm our team is in pale far into insignificance.

Bravo to the positive people and those opening up about their lives and struggles..wish you all well, marky mark said it best in The Perfect Storm "only love baby" don't forget this when it's tough for you and the kids.

All the best James you’re a good man.Adam is just a waste of a space in our team .he should just keep on concentrating banging his mates mrs the dirty dog. Shit player straight out can’t wait to his part of the sweep out.

I like it , good on him.!!!

Just thought I'd put this up for anyone interested.

A fictional show on SBS about a 6yo newly diagnosed with autism and his families' trials and challenges to manage it.

There's a few seasons and the family separate but learn how to help him with change.

"Back in series one, a specialist listed “finds change difficult” among the set of behaviours that place Joe somewhere on the autistic spectrum, and The A Word has since demonstrated that, actually, to varying degrees, we all do. So if it is a healthy model for accepting life’s only constant that you’re after, you could do much worse than to tune in. As the series begins, it’s holding on tight to what endures and gracefully letting go what doesn’t."

Called The A Word for anyone interested.
Bless.
