Via Telegraph Sport

We keep hearing South Sydney and NSW Origin head of high-performance Travis Touma has been approached by Phil Gould to take over at the Canterbury Bulldogs.

Gould has come to win.
Keep going.

We need at least one gun prop (or we need Thommo & TPJ to step up in ‘23).
And a centre - Vagana rebooted type of player.

I think Skelton or Alamoti (with a big off season) are potentially Vagana type players. Both Samoan like Vagana too!

IMO, we need an organising 7 and a good value prop or 2

Don’t forget fullback.

7, 1, 8 what we need urgently.

Whatever elite quality options come first we just have to lock up so we can continue to build as they pop up!

Alamoti is slow and chunky the last time I saw him. Vagana was a lot leaner and quicker.

Very different players, I was referring to having the attacking impact that Vagana had on our team. Hard to compare because Vagana was a gun and could hit a hole like very few players.

I hope they can be as good as him. But no one could move like Vagana, all his footwork was so sharp yet so smooth, just glided across the turf.
