now it was long time ago the bulldogs let him go but he has turned into a real good player for manly. runs hard, good offloads and loves scoring a try too.

we had to let him go at that time, we had good depth in forwards, and he was pretty soft.

now he's goin great. really added a lot to his game since going to manly. not a flashy player, but he gets the job done.

put on plenty of bulk and pace ah?

Yeah he has been very good since last year.

He was awesome in the Reserves for us, moved to Souths with Marteene and someone else and was very poor, and went to the Roosters with Charlie Tonga and both were terrible and now at Manly he is very, very good.

Obviously congrats go to Glenn, but I think it is also very reflective of how good a coach Des Hasler is and how he gets the best out of people.

He has turned around Josh Perry in a big way, he turned George Rose into a good player before his injury and has done the same for Mark Bryant and others.

I think the other player that went to souths was Todd Polglaise (retired through injury)

X2 what you said about Hasler

If you remember back to June 30 deadlines, the Bunnies
signed 4 Bulldog lower graders at 12.01am July the 1st,
Glen Hall was one of them.... funny, teams weren't
allowed to negoiate til after June 30, what a load of
crap that was.....

I think they took Polglase, Marteene, Hall and another neville
who's name escapes me right now.....

As for Hall, he played quite solidly for us in 02, replacing Shrek
who spent half the season on the sideline with a broken jaw, Glen played
with a shaved head ala O'Meley and he and Rauhihi were pretty useful
for us back then.

Unfortunately for him, like most players who leave the Dogs... he turned
to into poo and it has taken him 5 years to get back to Bulldog
standard.....
