Still some dead wood to be sorted. DWZ needs to go. For the money he’s on, his performances don’t suffice it. Hoppa won’t be resigned. Britt to go. Probably a few others I’m missing but these are all blokes Pay brought on that are as shit as his coaching skills

Nice effort by the second stringers to get in front and then hold on. Deitz is quick and maybe, just maybe ,we might have found a hooker.....

It will take time to click and our first string squad( minus a few) actually got a solid 60 minute hit out. Elliot despite his detractors played well. Still on shaky ground but after quite a few lean and disappointing years if we can build on things we will do better than others and win more games this year. Everything starts from the ground up and I am content to give them time to develop combos and get structures well in place.

Honestly didn't rate Hetherington at all, seemed involved but just ineffective. Thought he played better on the edge for Warriors...can't do any worse than Waddell. Renouf, Elliott, Cotric (don't rate him at left centre) and Allan were pretty good. Looked better in the second half when Wakeham got on the ball and Flanagan stopped mindlessly stat padding with useless possessions.
