OK. So GI, Beale are out of the picture according to TG. I think he said Brett Stewart is no chance either? Maybe I'm wrong on that one.. but if so:

It must be Hayne ? No way we would pay 4mil over 3 years for Hoffman.. if we do, I'm sorry, our club is farked.
I didn't say that...

I said we haven't officially approached him and that Canberra are throwing the book at him.

I for one was shocked, and very pleased that we have secured the services of Loko from Parra.
Maybe he might have inside info that Hayne might be coming.
Only if Hayne, unbeknowence to us and everyone else has one of these 'get out clauses' in his latest contract
that most players have inserted these days.
If TG says that we will win a premiership a premiership with 'him', plus adding that top nothch FBs are pretty scarce suggest it could be Hayne.
No player apart from Hayne could demand that type of money.

at 4 mill for 3 years it has to be hayne. Hayne has also said that if he wanted to to leave parra he would have by now meanin he's had good offers.

if DCE will command 1.2 or 1.3 that's the same money right there. better spending it on a half than a FB imo although hayne is almost two in one.

I'd imagine it's boyd. Prick of a bloke. Good player when he feels like it.
At half that price tag I would take Boyd.
Not $1M plus a season.
It could be the player that TG said he isn't happy about being approached.

TG, out of curiosity, what proposal has been brought forward to lure Haynes mother across?

Personally I think we will be paying overs... I would think that we should be able to secure him for $3M for 3 seasons... But, like it or not, we are desperate and there isn't enough talent available out there...
Add to that, our stock in the NSW cup and NYC are not very promising in the FB department.

However, i can see us winning a comp with him...
Maybe we can get Peter Mulholland and John Ackland to join Noel Cleal and form a superteam of recruitment specialists.

COMMENCE THE GUESSING GAME
Fullbacks off contract at end of 2015 season.
Jack Ahearn, Delroy Berryman, Darius Boyd, Mitchell Cronin, Glen Fisiiahi, Kurt Gidley, Clinton Gutherson, Jarryd Hayne, Josh Hoffman, Alex Johnston, Jordan Kahu, Kurt Mann, Peter Mata'utia, Tim Moltzen, Matt Moylan, Hezron Murgha, Tyrone Phillips, Adam Quinlan, James Roberts, Kurtis Rowe, Zac Santo, David Simmons, Billy Slater

Lots of talent there, but surely some will be locked up in advance. E.G Johnston, Gutherson, Roberts.

I'd toss them some serious coin .. stars of the future.

Billy Slater is easily the best on that list. If we signed him we would be certs to win the comp.

Disagree there. Think Hayne and at that state and age I'd rather gamble on Gutherson or Johnson.

Slater and Stewart are both guns, though both played with unreal spine players. Smith, Cronk, Foran, DCE. Hell Ballin is better then any support Hayne has had.

I'd take Stewart for a couple years if it included 2015. If not go all out for Hayne. Miss the boat then go for a young gun like Gutherson or Johnson cause we got nothing at the moment if we've missed Beale like it sounds.

Disagree as well.
Slater and Stewart to be honest have their best years behind them.
Either is on the verge of having career ending injuries.
Yes I know any player can but they seem most vulnerable.
Slater still has it but not at his best.
Have noticed that he is not getting through gaps as he would have previous.
Hayne is at the top of his game and believe it or not could get better considering what he has been playing with
in the four of five seasons club wise.
The only other player I could see being on our radar is Milford seeing that Bennett is at Broncos next year along with
three topline FBs in Barba (sorry), possibly Boyd and Hoffman.
Milford might not be in Bennet's plans.

As others said I'd imagine that Milford would stay with Raiders if they throw 1mil at him if Uncle Wayne some how ends that deal (doubt it) he will cut Barba before him.

I think the fullbacks we are likely going for are Hayne (dream and mega bucks), Stewart (back up plan and option for a few years as a good player that Des knows) and last Hoffman (someone is going at Broncos for Boyd nothing surer)

It's not inside information its just what the papers have been harping about for months and throw in the Beale story.

People just putting 2 and 2 together.

The big 80th Anniversary comes up next year for the club.
If they/us want to celebrate with a premiership it will no way be possible with what we have now.
We need a top shelf FB and a half, 5/8 or 1/2, dosen't matter.
Will get nowhere with that pairing next year.
Esp the latter,Hayne or whoever would be wasted without a constructive half to expolit his attacking qualities.

I think Hayne, Reynolds, Hodkinson, Lichaa would make a great ****ing spine. Mbye in the mix too.

Really looking forward to seeing Mbye in the mix.
I would rather have him getting his big opportunity alongside Hodko than Reynolds.
This could be a blessing in disguise for the Doggies, not so much this year but the next.
Hodko would be more of a calming influence to him than Reynolds.
With Lichaa, Mbye, Hodko and our topline FB signing (fingers crossed) it looks good.
