You need your starting prop to make an impact with the ball and in defence... Tolman covers and scrambles well and is a tackling machine but you need more than that from a highly paid prop.It's like people on here don't watch who defends only who makes more meters doing hit ups. Defence is as important as attack for all you uneducated rugby league fans.
He never offloads or breaks a tackle, he has zero skill and now he is making basic errors with no one around him. He makes 5 to 7 metres a run like he's playing against a 5 metre defensive line and he has zero physicality in his hits in defence.
Thompson is our future workhorse prop. We need more forwards like him with footwork, skill and athleticism and less plodders like Tolman.
