Meanwhile, Jake Foster, who made his debut for the Dogs against Penrith in round 11, was ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery yesterday. Foster was named to start against Melbourne but dislocated his shoulder on match eve.

Spewing! Poor bloke must be shattered. Just on the verge of getting his big break when this happens.

Poor bloke. Seriously how unlucky can you get in life. You bust your ass for most of your life trying to make first grade, you debut, you make the starting side the next week, and do your shoulder at training to be out for the season.

Do not show this to Slippery, he'll be devastated. Ban him from opening this thread or something !

Where was this from?

I heard from someone that plays against him in NSW Cup that it was about a month's injury and he was being rested due to inflammation of the joint after it dislocated.

Remember according to papers Hannant wasn't due back till this week!

That's shattering stuff.

The bloke was quoted saying how he was looking forward so badly for his second game against the Storm. It never fell through and we know why now.

Poor guy. Here's to a speedy recovery.

What makes it even worse is he was going to start, and going by NSW Cup form, he wouldve kept his spot in the top 17.
