Mind, I don’t believe this myself as I’m not religious, but it’s a mistake to believe that homosexuality isn’t referenced in the Bible, it is.
Some will argue it’s not because in the original text, the term “effeminate” is used, but that’s just the word they used back then for homosexuals.

Funny part is that instead of "homosexuals" and "sodomites", it originally said, "effeminate" and "arsenokoites"

I somewhat agree with that, but I think he handled it badly. The main issue here is that people were offended by it to the point where people were cancelling their memberships and threatening a boycott of the game.
