“Finally, his manager’s claim he had his own drug test (on Monday). That is nothing but window dressing and is just plain stupid.

“Like alcohol, cocaine is out of your system in a short space of time, meaning a test 72 hours later is of no value

I fully intended to only make the one post on this subject, but the timing needs to be clarified.

The generally accepted timeframes;

How long does cocaine stay in your blood?
Cocaine can be detected in your blood up to 2 days after taking it.

How long does cocaine stay in your saliva?
Cocaine can be detected in your saliva up to 2 days after taking it.

How long does cocaine stay in urine?
Cocaine can be detected in your urine up to 4 days after taking it.

How long does cocaine stay in your hair?
Cocaine can be detected on samples of your hair up to 90 days after taking it.

Friday night 10 pm to Monday morning 8 am is 52 hours, so well within the 96 hours (4 days).
Even if he took it Thursday night it would still be well within the 96 hours.
If he took it Wednesday night it wouldn't show up in the saliva test as it would be more than 48 hours (2 days).

My guess is he has had some decent legal and medical advice which is obvious from the Monday morning timing for the test. Based on the negative urine result he can legally challenge the police testing if it comes back positive.

Sometimes I wonder what Ciro sees when he watches the games. He watches it live and then no doubt multiple times in the video sessions. How he can come up with Salmon at 13 again after watching the last two weeks is mind boggling.
