It's been 9 days since I ate anything and I am ****ing hungry lol

So I want to know what type of cuisine is your favourite?

My favourite is Asian closely followed by Mexican.

Asia is a big place Any particular part?

My favourites come inand out over time. But I think Thai is still my main man (nothing to do with being married to one - probably been a favourite since I first moved to Sydney 20 years ago within walking distance of dozens of Thai restaurants (Newtown) .

I actually think overall Thai food is better in Australia (or at least on par with) than the "real thing".

I think Mexican food goes well with booze, but i'm not big on it sober

I've always been underwhelmed by French food, and I have eaten at some pretty expensive French joints.

One cuisine I have warmed to over the years is Japanese. Never liked it when younger but wife has been doing her best to get me more cultured in that department.

Oh yeah, and I love the Brisbane German Club... Schnitzel, pork knuckle...

You are lucky in Sydney to have the variety, esp if in inner west. Brisbane is getting better, but still some way to go.

Would have to say Thai hands down, especially if they can make a decent coconut rice.
Favourite dishes: chicken cashew nut with chilli jam / chicken pad-siew.

This could change very soon though, as I've found out about a[FONT=Arial, sans-serif] Brazilian Churrasco restaurant a few km's from home .[/FONT]

Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese are my favourite. I love Mexican but the variety of the former 3 make them my favourite.

Arab is good, too. Very vegetarian friendly.

tastes like heaven when its in your mouth, burns like hell when it comes out.

Don't prejudice your tastebuds ... spend a week fueling up on some of everything.

FTR ... Indian for me : Macarthur Square food court. Vege Korma and Mango Chicken with rice. Never fails.

Why do people love Thai so much? There's about 3 things on the menu and they all taste the same.

I love indian my favorite , I dig middle eastern shit but its usually the bastardrized versions I attempt to make so I have no idea if its even close to authentic.
A good chinese but fukking hard to find any on the coast .mexican , wog , etc

tell you what , there are not many Iranian/ Persian restaurants around, but their food is also very different/ tasty.

Jasmin for Lebanese, holy Basel for Thai/Lao and my wife makes a mean Oka (Samoan raw fish in coconut)
