1995 grand final, watching the greatest bulldog player ever, terry lamb, sent off a champion, with a fairytale finish

that's how it was at the time, so i'm just talking about 'my fave bulldogs moment', not the fact that he also came back in 96 to help the club out

- Hazem El Masri try saving tackle against Steven Bell in the 2003 semi final
YES! Brilliant, brilliant tackle! Bell was to score under the posts for all money.

Our 2009 run, smashing so many teams and giving it to mates after having the wooden spoon tag.

Mine goes back to the late 60's. We played Balmain at the Sydney Sports Ground. The Bulldogs were behind in the second half and looked to lock it up when Kevin Yow Yea broke down the eastern sideline with nobody in front of him. He was VERY quick. From the clouds came Les Johns to take him over the sideline just metres from the tryline. Then Canterbury forced a Balmain line dropout with just minutes to go. They led us by a single point at that stage. The dropout went almost to the halfway mark and was taken on the full by Johns. Les calmly drop-kicked a field goal (a two-pointer then) to get the Dogs up against the side that went on to win the premiership.

It was the 1980 playoffs. Fullback Greg Brentnall punted from halfway - Winger Steve Gearin flew after it with his eyes on nothing but the ball - Gearin launched himself at the the ball, took it cleanly, scored and sealed the match. It was the first and only time in living memorey that coach Ted Glossop showed emotion at a game.

Does anyone remember Willie Tonga stepping someone from the Cowboys and going over to score untouched.
It was a Bulldogs scrum win about 20m out from the Cowboys line.

Too many to mention but here is a list of some of my favourites

- Daryl Halligan conversion from the sideline in 98 preliminary final
- Hazem's sideline conversion winner in 02 against the Knights
- Matt Utai Slam against the Roosters in 03
- Willie Tonga first class game against the Roosters. His solo effort to step, fend and beat Hodges to score in the corner.
- Reni Maitua try against the Panthers in the 04 preliminary final
- Bobcat's TWO try-saving tackles in the GF
- 2004 Grand Final triumph
- 06 vs St Merge. Dogs of War
- Lobster one-on-one strip on K. Hunt
- Round 1, 2009 - Hazem breaks the record
- Dogs vs Eels 2011. Payne vs Hayne, Ennis vs Hindmarsh, Barba three tries

I remember an absolute cracker in 04 off a scrum against Penrith, Night they named the 70 years team. He stepped Preston Campbell that good that he fell over himself :p

Terry Lamb's try in the 1995 Preliminary final....

Against the reigning premiers, Canberra... the very team that smashed us in the GF the year before...
My God, this was revenge at it's sweetest... and Terry Lamb's support play is just GOLD....

Oh, and little nugget Polla-Mounter slicing through the line ...

You can even catch glimpses of Jimmy Dymock in our colours... ahh yes, the memories!

Another one that I feel is VERY underrated.

In 06 when we had Perry out injured, we started with Grimaldi at hooker. Possibly the slowest hooker in the history of the NRL.

He picks up the ball from dummy half 20 metres out from the Roosters line, splits the markers, through a gap, passed the fullback and scores.

You might be right. It might have been Penrith.
Does anyone have a video of this?
Fark he had a mad step.

Tonight, when Eastwood comes to life, stands to offload in the tackles and the backs support all night to keep the Eels guessing.
