Fanafou Seve joins the Roosters

I've seen multiple reports on Dogs Facebook fan sites. Damn I was hoping this 124kg 195cm monster would develop nicely with us into NRL

YOUNG GUN FANAFOU SEVE DEPARTS BULLDOGS TO JOIN SYDNEY ROOSTERS ALONG WITH BROTHER.
He was on a supplementary contract for 2025.

Not good losing any potential star juniors, but there must be something up with the brothers. I’m thinking something along the lines of Franklin Pele… perhaps they didn’t pass the attitude test or simply got the shits for some reason.

At any rate, we have many other young props that may kick on. Underhill, Todd, Marshall etc. one thing all those guys have, is hard work ethic. That seems to see a lot of players leaving in the last couple of years, which is fair enough.
 
Does anyone know the details as to why one of our best young locals decided the to pull the pin?
 
Plenty of hyped up youngsters don’t go on to have successful NRL careers. Hopefully turns out to be another John kite or Paki Afu.
According to a poster on here we have lost the next SBW.

Yeah, somthings soured the relationship with the club for sure.

No way they leave when they are coming into grade round the time we are becoming premiership ready.

And if they are as good as we all hoped for, then no way Gus let's them go.

Obviously they are quality players, otherwise the roosters would not have gone for them.
I'd say at a wild guess Gus and Politis did some kind of deal.

Anyway, they not dogs players now, sooooo, yeah.

A few comments said they are trouble, and we have a culture we are building and they weren’t buying in on it. But who knows. Gus don’t let players leave for no reason
