Ewan McGrady called up to replace Joey ??

I read on the internet somewhere that Ewan McGrady has been called up to replace Joey Johns. They said that they werent sure how they were going to pay McGrady but he accepted a packed of Winny reds. Can anybody confirm this ??

For the younguns that didnt know him:
He was an awesome attacking player for that year. Really fast off the mark. Couldnt tackle for **** though. In 92 he was hopeless, and I think he went to Wests with his brother Jason after that.
It was the Rothmans Medal that he won in 91, and he was too shy to go. Matt Ryan had to go and get him and bring him to the awards.
