Won't be able to afford it. Backed by oil, oil will pay.

It protects their investment as when they need to sell these players they'll go for more because of the contracts

well they're already losing walker and possibly Kdb. I honestly think they'll start next season on a hefty points deduction along with a transfer ban for a full season

If they don't get punished the league is dead and if I were Everton and Forest I'd be sueing to buggery

True. But he was on a hiding to nothing.

Him playing the highline with 9 men early on in his time there was lauded by most, but it stank then now and he's paying the penalty now for his stubbornness and naivety

I want to keep ange to see what he can do with the team he has (healthy I mean), but I'm also scared we'll be in the championship to find that out...

Nah, not this year. Spurs have been bad but bottom three are already relegated which is good news for Man United
