RABBITOHS champion Dylan Walker has already lost his NRL premiership ring.

The South Sydney centre lost his prized possession overboard on a team cruise on Wednesday as the players continued their celebrations following Sunday night’s 30-6 grand final victory over the Bulldogs.

As revealed by Ben Fordham on his 2GB show: “They decided to go for a swim and Walker decided to take off his ring so that he didn’t lose it.

“As it he took it off he dropped it. His NRL premiership ring is somewhere on the bottom of Sydney Harbour.”

The incident has been confirmed by the Rabbitohs.

The ring cost $8000 to make.

It remains unknown whether the NRL will provide Walker with a replacement ring.

Does he deserve a replacement ring?

I don't understand, If he was after some Cash he should've asked uncle Russ instead of hooking the ring...

His coach gave him his ring, which he is thinking about giving back, and rusty made him a rabbitohs ring, not a grandfinal ring from what ive read.

If he cannot look after his ring he does not deserve a new one. Why should the NRL replace it if he was stupid enough to wear it on a harbour cruise. Maybe we could get the Navy seals to go get it for him ( at our expense). Just saw the TV vision of the continuation of the wankfest with the parade through town, the presenting of the keys to the city ( at our expense no doubt), the harbour bridge salute and climb ( at our expense) and the fawning over fans about their long wait. Some toothless old sheila saying that she has been celebrating with her glasses of bourbon since Sunday and they are still going ( at our expense). Let's hope the honeymoon ends soon.

Well the good thing that comes out of this is that the Sharks will now know what is it like to have a premiership ring..

Lets be honest, they aren't terribly nice rings anyway.... rather tacky actually.

Could easily hock it and get a nicer one made for the money.
