Funnily enough great centres are as hard to find now as halves imo. Used to be so many of them in the 2000s but now it’s a handfull
There's plenty of quality centres (Crichton, Mitchell, TTrbojevic, Farnworth, Graham, Manu, Holmes etc), most of them just want to play fullback (or 5/8) for the money.
When is there going to be a reckoning on Clubs paying stupid overs.
Clubs have to take some of the responsibility, but for clubs that are struggling to attract, it is hard not to get at least a little desperate. Then they find themselves up the creek paying a lot of money to a player no longer performing or even wanting to be there.
