Michael Ennis has grave concerns for the Dragons’ premiership aspirations after Roosters loss

THE Dragons have hit a form slump at the wrong time and are battling to stay relevant in the race for the 2018 premiership.

Paul McGregor’s side’s 36-18 loss to the Roosters was their third in four games, since Origin III.

With just five games remaining until the finals, the Dragons are racing the clock to turn things around in time for a premiership push, according to Fox League expert Michael Ennis.

“The biggest concern for me is, they were a side that averaged 25 points at one stage and for long periods of the season,” Ennis explained.

I reckon they will bow out in straight sets come finals time. They will be no match for teams like Storm,Roosters or Souths who have players with lots of finals experience. Ben Hunt has proven that he is not a big game player.

I don't think the Roosters will be up there either. It's the Roosters FFS.

They beat a shithouse team in Manly, then they beat the April Premier-Specialists the Dragons. They won't win. Storm and Souths IMO... but I want it to be Roosters and Souths with Souths winning. Just so I can LOL at the Roosters losing a Grand Final again (that never gets old).

I would agree with you but the Rooster's have the ultimate game manger in Cronk, come finals time his experience will probably be the difference.

Was always going to happen, other clubs start off slow and pick up pace and form towards the back end of the season.

Dragon's started match fit and in form and now that other clubs are at the same level of match fitness dragons stand no chance.

Their forward pack is over rated as hell, only Frizzel and Vaughan, IMO, would be classified as top notch and wanted by teams, vying for the premiership, as starting forwards.

De bellin is the most over rated of the lot, I still can't believe how he gets so much raps.

And the key to killing off the dragons is to shut down widdop. Once widdop has a quiet game, they have nothing.

Aitken was shown to be a pretender by Latrell, and thank fark he wasn't selected for origin.

The two halves for the Dragons are magicians on the field

They can both disappear especially in crucial games

Souths vs Saints grand final calling it now. Souths master stroke was signing Cook & Gagai. Souths have a bit more strike across the park, also Johnston doesn't get dominated on kick returns like Dufty.

Get you own headline Ennis. Choke watch is now gaining momentum and the Dragqueens are coming home with a wet sail..........Love nothing better as I have a few friends who support the Red V and they have been giving it to me deluxe all year. One thing they need to learn as do the players is that the finals are played in September.............
