Prop that didn't FUCK US*
I'm not saying he is the one, but let's see how he goes with us first.
He's closer to Hughes than he is King.
King and Thompson starting with Hughes and the titans forward off the bench would be a solid prop rotation
It gives us another middle around King's level, but I think King is slightly better. Thompson's worth 500-600k so depending how much overs we paid will determine if this is a good signing or not, at least less wiggle room for Thompson to perform every week, when you're on big money he's going to have to step up.
From the reports I've seen the only $ Thompson is forgoing is his upgrade from Knight this year. He needs to be taking a significant decrease from the Raider offer as that was ridiculous.
The Saifiti brothers aren't a good bench markYeah a starting prop for the Kiwis is just slightly better than Hughes... You're hilarious. Thompson has been better than both Saifiti brothers the past 2 seasons & they are way better than Hughes.
Did Curran retire?
It's possible that if Sutton returns and shows some, early form, Gus might be able to swap him for Thompson early in the new yearI stand corrected! And for lesser money. Just wish it was for this year
The Saifiti brothers aren't a good bench mark
curran on edge or at lock
Have the dogs signed the Titans prop?Cool. This and the Titans fella is great recruitment.
good debateable especially for Daniel. They are good props. Not in the elite category but NRL level starters.
Curran isn't playing edge with Kikau & Preston there. Also Sitili there to cover edge. Mann is lock & should be playing 60 min a game.
good debateable especially for Daniel.
That's all in the past, he's been not that great for at least 2 seasons now. Klemmer was better than all of them at Knight.Played Origin & have taken the Knights to the finals 3 out of the past 4 seasons. If they weren't doing their job then Ponga wouldn't be able to do his.
Also both are way better than Hughes.
mann no guarantee to be with us for 2026 at this stage
FK yeeehaaaaaaaGREAT news and even better that he KNOCKED back the bigger offer from the Raiders as I thought he was just another mercenary and using our team for more money, so at least we know he wants to come for development and a premiership... now just imagine if we also signed Josiah Pahulu, that would be some pack ... go the might BULLDOGS let's get EXCITED y'all ...
Not what I said at all. I said Gus had recently missed a number of key targets… and that is true. To his credit, he finally got a big fish. Switch to regular caffeinated, mate. Will make the world of difference to your basic comprehension skills lol.Everyone cracking Joel but what about @Utility and @Dogs4EVA-1 ? Thought Gus was done boys and we couldn't land anyone?
Now we are building front row depth watch the call on Todd may be earmarked to play lock similar role to Yeo.mann no guarantee to be with us for 2026 at this stage
