Official Dogs sign Leo Thompson (2026)

I honestly thought we were a chance of signing him... Guess we have to trust the process... We seem to be doing quite well with Gus and CC
 
Man I hope these young props Gus is putting his chips all in on are going to work out. Not saying Thompson was a good fit, but props were what bit us in the arse this season. With so much apparent cap space for 25 and 26, he either has something up his sleeve or his ego is getting in the way of landing players.
We pack that real mongrel type alpha prop.

Yeh with all that unused csp last year we have lost overall this year with Jac. I don’t get it on the surface. Must be some mega addition in the pipeline, and i hope paps and hunt wasn’t it
 
The Bulldogs have gone cold on Knights prop Leo Thompson, leaving three to four clubs battling it out for the star front-rower's signature.

Thompson wasn’t going to fix that problem for 25 anyway. At least these young guys have their destiny in their own hands. If they are good enough and want it enough. They have an uninterrupted passage to the NRL. Let’s hope one or two take that opportunity with both hands this season.

What I do hope though is Todd, Underhill and co. Are tied down for a few years at least. We don’t want to get them ready and then the Rooster’s come calling.
