Gday Bulldog fans , have been a Bulldog fan since 1993 , grew up in the district , was a season ticket holder at Belmore , then Hombush and Stadium Australia , moved to Tasmania in 2004 and watched them on Austar then moved up here to Toowoomba Qld in 2007 . Don't get to many games these days but love them no less . Got my nickname Mearsey from my Bulldog mates who thought I looked like former Bulldogs hooker Robbie Mears . Have known members of the Moore family for many years and the 'Bullfrog would be prouder than punch how well the club has rebuilt and how well his boy is doing coaching - not that his two son in laws did a bad job winning a premiership each ! I am loyal through and through and have blue and white blood .

Mears also had a stint in the UK and played for the Wests Tigers as well

Whatever happended to Mears? He was at the Warriors for a while wasnt he?

Robert Mears is playing first grade for the Narellan Jets these days,
I think he is the Captain/Coach this year.

My son's coach plays in the first grade squad, they are talking about
running the 6's during half time on this Sunday's game, I will have
to take my son out to watch him play one night if the half time
games fall through.

Mitch Newton was also playing out in Group 6 for a while, not sure
if he is still going????

I saw Mitch Newtown at the Tigers game in the members bar. He sill looks pretty fit.
