Hows the Police encouraging the public to dob in littering to the EPA?
If someone dobbed me into the EPA for tossing an empty can on the footpath I would punch them in the head.
How are they gunna prove it, start a court battle?
If I find an empty can on my footpath I accept it and pick it up.
The only thing I hate is cigarette butts everywhere.

I got a 250 fine for throwing a cigarette butt out the window and I dont even smoke. Work that one out. I called them and tried to argue the point, there was no video proof, nothing! Apparently one of those mobile RTA speed camera ***** seen me. They don't need proof at all. I was livid. Every time I see one of those RTA cameras now I hold the horn on going past them with my arm out the window giving the bird, just in case it was them. *****

Private Corporations have no business in speed enforcement.

They are either RedFlex or Macquarie Group employees, and both companies get a percentage kick back of the fines they issue.

I used to either flip them off, or if they were legally parked, park up behind them if I wasn't in a hurry, then have conversations wandering in their way on my phone (like I had to pull over to take a call).

Nothing they can do either ... unless it's a HWP car, as they are not emergency service vehicles, nor sworn in officers.

There's a bloke in Wagga who operates/operateed one (not sure if he still does), as he almost got run out of town by locals, AND was observed many a time speeding.

Then theres the ones in Bathurst which the council continually fined for illegal parking until they pissed off.

I had one 6 months ago parked on a nature strip right on road, open their door up and almost take me out. Complained to Redflex and nothing happened.

You know, the court will award costs if you win.
Should be a pretty straightforward case just provide a folder full of stat decs that you have never smoked and ask the court to find for you and award costs.

True, this was a fair while ago now plus I've been going through the family court for over 3 yrs now ( I have custody of my daughter ), wish they'd award costs for this, nearly 40k and counting but she's on legal aid so won't get anything back apparently. So to bring it back to point I'm just sick of the courtroom. I know its principle but at the time I just couldn't be bothered, now I think about it again tho it pisses me off I did pay when I didn't do it

I live on the fringe of the nasho, and bushfires are a massive threat to us.
A few months ago I was behind a car (corolla I think) in the nasho and he flicked a butt, out the window, I stopped, picked it up, ran him down and my mate flicked it back in his car.

Yeah anywhere to litter is bad. Even bushfire zones you should do 5 years jail if caught tossining butts in rural zones or near rivers!
Get this over a month ago I went down Henry Lawson driveand in between Kelso and East hills near the George's river there's a massive sign about how you will be fined $10000 for illegally dumping in that zone!
Guess what? Some arrogant grubs who have no respect for the law or the world they live in have dumped a shitload of rubbish right there!
Lucky we aren't getting much rain because that will all wash into the river for sure.

Why can't people understand the big deal?
