Pretty much, I'm still baffled to why Pearce and Maloney were chosen over Carney, Carney actually has a combinations with Gallen, Lewis, Fifita and to some extent Bird who are all world class forwards.

Your all kidding yourselves if you think carney or anyone else would of made a difference last night the tone was set early QLD came out set the tone with the intensity and NSW couldn't match it all night and the 4 penalties didn't help either

You can't blame the ref when they run out and give away five penalties, we deserved to be under the hammer, the fact they scored within two minutes showed their minds were not on the job and werent playing like a team.

qld have 14 on the field for the first 20! qld lose the ball first set, penalty for a strip, nsw lose the ball on their 20 (strip from smith) play on. there is 2 tries in 10 minutes. and nsw never recovered, attitude or scoreboard.

pearce killed the attack, passes going behind players, no kicking game, no structure.

best thing to come out of the game, at least the debate about merrit being an origin level player is over.
