But we didn’t lose this game because of Sutton.
Last I checked lifting (intentional or not) is illegal hence Morrin in the bucket. They split open our right edge for Wighton’s second try. We had our chances and we blew them. Anyone who wants to ‘blame the ref’ for todays loss has too many sour grapes in the fridge.

While I sort of agree the professional foul a min before half time cost us the game. Should have been sent to the bin and then JAC in space wouldn’t have been hit in the head with a hip as the bloke would have been in the bin. It’s the little things that continue to fuck us from the ref

If we took the 2 when morrin was off, then we would have only been behind by 4.. which totally changes the way the opposition plays.. even if they get that penalty and skip back out to 6 point lead we score at the end and convert and we lock it up...

We need some smarter players, should have declined the conversion attempt.

The logic behind it is you kick the goal and only 2 behind and go for a 2 point field goal.

Hutch killed plenty of chances when he should have passed.

refs killed us but we should still have won with the blown chances with dropped ball.

Souths take from that is they can’t win without help or the opposition team being shit or dropping the ball etc.

Better team lost. Not sure why dropping a hip into someone's head isn't a send off, let alone the disgraceful way the perpetrator attempts to force Fox to his feet against all known medical advice. They needed to take their chances towards the end of the game but they were clearly gassed.

A few too many errors still in our game. I doubt any souffs fan who knows their footy is going to be thrilled, they were very fortunate, and showed nothing to suggest that they do not remain spoon contenders.
