Very very very very lucky

They cant say Manly didnt have their share of luck. One try they scored on the back of a bad ref decision about barba grounding it in goal and the last try they scored to level it up came from a very lucky deflection from a kick. Both teams had good and bad luck during the game a few times.

That Last try from Manly was pure luck.... add try scored after Barba's bullshit line drop out call........ we should ve won easily.... we got some dodgy calls our way tooo but not as many Manly got..

That was a pretty mighty effort. Look at the stats. Besides the first 20min it was all manly. We took our chances tonight. Couple of soft try's at the end but that's to be expected after defending for 2/3 of a game. All those saying on here that it was luck and all that wake up. Support your team. Don't play down that effort.

We were absolutely the better team tonight. Forwards were fantastic. The reffing was terrible. We got a few favourable decisions but they definitely got the better of the rubbish calls.

I know a win is a win BUT we need to learn how to defend on our right ... or seperate She Rex, Inu and Perrett ... we need to focus on our defence like we did in 2012 ... go the DOGGIES!!!

Well Des went with starting with his muscle Graham who usually comes in later and we tend to play intense for 80 minutes. We also seemed to come out of the blocks really well and intense. But because of all that we faded. But Des' plan JUST worked out, get the jump on Manly. To Manly's credit they played some nice footy and stayed with it when down with little time left.

Agree, that wasn't luck, we were fantastic in the face of a bucket load of penalties that kept putting them in our 20. our forwards were fantastic. Many other teams would have crumbled under that lack of ball and huge amount of defence on in our 20. Great effort from the boys and our best of the season.

fucken hell man, what a game but srsly the refs kept manly alive and our defence last few sets were bad.

Manly had 61% possession. 15 completed sets with the ball more than us. 10 - 6 penalty count. Ran 350 more metres and made half as many errors. Refs rode them all the way on their comeback.
