He will never change has his one style he plays and it’s boring good luck to manly last year they over archived now they will be be playing shit boring football in years to come
I was sitting on level 4 at The 2012 Grand Final. Driving home from the game I was convinced Bellamy had out coached Hasler.

Dane Nielsen was parked in our backline specifically to stop our biggest threat which was the Barba/Jmoz combination. There were numerous occasions where Nielsen could have been pinged for 10 metres but Archer turned a blind eye.

The OBVIOUS tactic was to kick in behind the defence but it wasn't attempted until well into the 2nd half when jmoz chased a Barba kick juggled it forward but Slater punched it into the in goal before jmoz could regain the ball to make it a knock on.

Should have turned Nielsen around with clever kicking much earlier and stop him rushing up. Hasler was a half back for most of his playing career but he was a running half not a play maker and not much of a kicker. As a coach he is not a tactical genius.

Yes in 2012 he had our teams tactics down to a fine tee then they changed the rules because of it. The decoy run, Short kickoff even running it on the fifth every now and then..
