Very serious incidents, they were lucky to get off. A kick in the direction of another player which had no chance of making contact and throwing a bottle at a player after full time who had no chance of kicking the goal anyway.

Nothing incidents. What concerned me more was the fact that as Klein put Graham on report he said there was nothing illegal in the tackle made by Burgess. Technically may be right but morally corrupt. That " legal" tackle known as a prowler, was responsible for a player receiving a broken back in a game in the past few weeks. Whinging by certain teams saw other tactics banned as dangerous what about this one and what about the cannonball tackles performed on several occasions by Jason Clark being allowed to go through to the keeper when they ARE illegal. Duty of care pfft, the Nrl don't care full stop.

South Sydney lock Sam Burgess has been charged with tripping, the only player to attract the attention of the NRL match review committee from the Rabbitohs' victory over the Bulldogs on Friday night.

Burgess was cited for an incident involving Canterbury prop Aiden Tolman in the 47th minute of the contest, and a poor previous record means an early guilty plea would still result in a one-match ban, to be served in 2017.

Surprised both Klemmer and Graham are free to play considering the media, Rabbitoh players and co. suggesting that they were in big trouble for their acts.

And somewhat they right in suggesting they were in trouble.

I was pissed however the media didnt once suggest how much of a dog Burgess was in this game.

Bit of karma that he will miss a game or two next year (or does he miss the four nations?). That has made my day.

So it was him. Saw the incident but as it was pretty much off the ball just caught a glimpse. Typical though that it was unseen by any of the officials and we received no penalty. So not only did he mange three cheap shot punches and an unpunished prowler tackle but a trip. Nice one Sum.

There was also an attempted shoulder charge by Burgess on Graham, which glanced him, and knocked him off balance; then the blowups by him in the scrums. If he had been a Bulldog, the refs would have started watching his every play and blowing the whistle at each opportunity. Fortunately for him, he got a penalty for an incident Graham was not charged over; and got away with no penalty for something he was later charged for. Funny that.

Graham was never going to get charged, it would have opened up a whole can of worms if they did.

What could they hit him with, a grade 3 kicking air?

Burgess went out of his way to be a total grub. He knew he could mess with our boys and they wouldn't retaliate since we have the finals next week.

They have air guitar competitions, why not air kicking in the NRL? Just an excuse on field to give Souths another crap penalty to get them away from their own line.

I didn't think for a second he was going to get charged.

Funny enough that them being cleared hasn't changed my opinion on our chances next week.
