Dally M Player of the Year means sweet fuck all tbh, if anything the player who usually wins it is because his team is a one man team and most of his teammates don’t perform well enough to ever take any points.

I’m pretty sure Nathan Cleary is yet to win a Dally M Player of the year and it’s because he plays in a complete team

Worst voting system for player of the year in all sports. No player should be player of the year if their team finishes 8th I think Hayne won it one year and parra missed the finals

Tbh short of us making the GF I think Bellamy deserves it

The Storm were injury hit and then Origin hit for half the season and managed to win both the minor premiership and easily make the GF
 
Also to add on how this system is broken. The voters don’t even believe in their own system. Burton had more points than Dearden does that not make him 5/8 of the year. So the points can’t matter that much

that baffled me, hooker grant was in the top 10 dally m points and got hooker, we didn’t even saw dearden name pop up once on the dally m leaderboard yet dearden got it…
