it was a tough call but Storm won the Minor Premiership convincingly and they had players out long parts of the season like Pappy and Munny.
His team on paper at the start of the season was no where near say Roosters, best coach there has ever been imo at this present time. He has no nursery and turns players like Katoa, Blore and Meaney into potentially premiership players.

All of these plaudits are subjective, and largely meaningless.
Andrew Wesbster was 2023 NRL Coach of the Year - how'd that work out for the 2024 Warriors.
Ciraldo is getting plenty of recognition for 2024 from the people that matter - Bulldogs fans.
That's over now. 2025, we go again. All teams start on zero points; 2024 achievements are history.

I am sure Ciraldo would agree, the plaudits are "nice" but it is achievement and success we're chasing.
If he/we get the success deserved based on hard work, improvement, and excellence, yet no one notices but Bulldogs fans, then he'd take it.
He can have Premiership rings, others can feel satisfied with the (hollow) "plaudits".
