Cooper Connelly could be making he test debut today vs Sri Lanka
 
Connolly had played a grand total of 4 FC games. Has an ok average (61), but other than that he's largely an unknown in the long game.

I wish him all the best but are we going to see a continuation of players without FC experience?

He has also bowled 96 FC deliveries for 0 wickets. Listening to some comments from steve smith, it sounds like they want another left arm orthodox spinner to compliment Kuhnemann

This could be the next generation of Australian cricketers with backgrounds from the subcontinent (we're pretty much the last cricket nation to get on board with this):

Bit of chopping and changing going on that's for sure.
I rate this kid but i get it he is indeed fairly raw in the long form, let's see how he goes personally I wish him well.
Dont know a lot about his bowling ability he certainly can bat but against spin we shall see, toss crucial again probably?
 
Get the debutante on, Chandimal is a key wicket, the kid bowling to a right hander suits
