all out for 286, would be nice if we could actually bat out a whole day's play without being bowled out
I didn't watch the coverage, but have a look at the cummins wicket (link is timestamped), very alarming seeing that on a day 1 pitch

seen the highlights seems to be a lot of uneven bounce for a few of those wickets.

poms were 5 for 84 and now they’re 5 for 355

That game is heading for over a 1000 runs in 3 days, sounds pretty fun to bat on lol

Sam Konstas out for a duck. Fmd, he's rubbish.

I mean, seriously. You have slender lead and only half an hour until stumps with three full days ahead of you, and you play at a ball like that, with that fucking footwork.

Precarious position over there in W.I.
Hope we can pick up a few more runs with only a few wickets left.

Couple of guys in Australia A in Darwin against SL doing ok.

poms 5 down needing 516 runs to win
Just watching a few overs here as I am waiting for the F1 to start, day 5 and the ball is starting to move around now lol

they had a bit of rain so I guess the moisture is playing a part

That's the pathetic standard of cricket pitches around the world these days. Even some of ours in Shield are bad.

He is not up to first class standard let alone test. I think the selectors wanted to be like they were 30-40 years ago when they picked players like Healy, McGrath & Warne who had barely played first class cricket but had obvious talent. Konstas is as talented as the selectors are at picking the team. We haven't had selectors this bad in my lifetime before if ever. They really have no idea what they are doing.

If there was a short leg, it might've killed them :D
Amazingly, there is no record of a player dying by being hit by a bat. The closest to this incident was Raman Lamba who died whilst fielding at short leg & was hit in the head. He was offered a helmet, but as there were only 3 balls left, he declined. Very sad.
