Ooh shit it missed!

Mayer sure has great timing..

As soon as Mark Waugh said it had to be gone you just knew the bloke should have sent it upstairs. He is the Andrew Johns of cricket.
Remember that sledge by Pommie James Ormond to Mark Waugh? When Ormond got to the crease Waugh said “What are you doing out here? There’s no way you’re good enough to play for England.”
Ormond replied - “Maybe not, but at least I’m the best player in my own family.”

Might extend to his commentary..:tonguewink:

Reckon if Tugger ever gave it a go he would nail it.

Well the Windies started off well..but the Aussies strangling em.. Can they steady and post a competitive score?

Usually a bit hard to know if the first innings is competitive until the second innings. There have been numerous exceptions to this of course...

The pitch is somewhat bowler friendly, case in point second last ball of that Starc over, leapt up at the batter.

True..hopefully though it will be competitive total..but another wicket gone..
And that wasn't the first mistimed hit up in the air. Despite that early 100m six, it doesn't look like an easy pitch to get your timing right on.

You are right..so we might get a good ending..

What a six by Holder

Cummins is a level above, once in a generation bowler. What might have been if he didn't have so many injury problems when younger.
