I heard cowboys have chipped in more, but dogs still want them to chip in a little more. Dogs want 50/50. This has been going on for a while now. You never know, he could end up in the blue and white. I think $400k cowboys and $600k dogs would be ideal.
I hope the Cows are chipping in more, even better I wish we can clean swap with RFM, that would crazy :tearsofjoy:

Let's see how long they keep a bench player @ $1million to play potentially 30mins. If his form doesn't improve, they will look to offload him ASAP, probably chipping in $350-$400K.

His all time playing average missed tackles is 1.9 per game, last season he missed 0.3 more tackles per game, hardly "missing tackles like crazy".
Metres gained, his all time playing average is 151 compared to last season 143, not exactly a huge drop off.

What concerns me is he only played 16 games last season due to a knee cartilage injury, a result of a hip drop. In the last 5 seasons he has missed on average 8 games per season.

When he plays he is still a force, but whoever takes him on needs to manage his minutes.

Always a Bulldog
He also played significantly less minutes per game last season.. Most of the games he played between 35 and 45 minutes a game. He had games of 7, 6 and 5 missed tackles. And his tackle busts and offloads per game dropped off a lot in the second half of last year.

He's still a great metre eater but he gets slower play the balls than ever. He's still a decent forward, but not worth the money he's on and not the great player he was for so many years.

250/750k of his contract is what I've heard 3 months ago.
Considering his recent form we should get them to tip in $500K.

His form has been crap and the Cowboys need to get rid of him more desperately than we need him.

Such a dumb thread sorry.

No way cowboys are chipping in over FOUR years ffs.

They will just medically retire him

Can't medically retire him unless he agrees.

All he needs is one Dr and it will end up in the courts.

Look at Canberra.

They tried it with CHN. He didn't play ball and they are stuck with him.

Would u pay 700k?
If we’re paying Sutton anything close to 500K, JT is def worth 700K imo - also, a players value is like a house, it’s worth as much as the buyer is willing to pay for it (depending on “need”).

Hope it happens at a good price. However if I was JT, I'd rather go to the dolphins to replace J.Bromwhich in 25'.

What’s CHN contract etc with raiders. I hadn’t heard they tried to retire him, that’s hectic. Glad he not here no more, but interesting news to me, pls spill.

Where? I haven't seen an update on him since they last said a decision was being made in the new year.

Ricky said he was going to medically retire CHN.

CHN publicly stated that he wasn't going anywhere.

He is still taking up a Top 30 spot at the Raiders.

It will be a long protracted battle with Drs at 20 pacers if the Raiders push this line without CHNs consent.

Apparently now his specialists and the Raiders specialists are meeting to come to anagreement.

Article is behind a paywall unfortunately.

Ricky didn't say that. He said the medical reports they were getting said it was unlikely he will play again and that he will be assessed again in the new year. This was late December. Corey can say whatever he wants but it won't mean shit if doctors write him off.

"It is really sad for the kid… it's a tragedy actually," Stuart told Wide World of Sports.

"The medical reports we are getting is that he is very unlikely to play again.

"At 28, that's tough and he has been good for us.

"But we are supporting him and looking for a pathway for him after football.

"We would like to keep him in the game and in the club."

Why would you be looking for a pathway after football for him if you weren't trying to retire him???
