Screw up the Covid-19 response, lies to the peooe about it, admits he lied to the people, refuses to listen to the country's lead epidemiologist then suggests he'll fire him 'cause Trump refuses to take the blame for his own screw ups.

And this is the guy you want as President for a second term

This is the point where the drunk uncle needs his wife to tell him it's time to go home now.
Up until this he was doing fine....

I still kind of like the way he backs himself

Hacky. When do you realistically think the death rate will rise?

UK seems to have started the second wave about the 5th of October. With daily numbers monstering the first wave. US appears the 20 October.

There appears to be a slight steady curve rise in deaths (compared to the harsh spike march/april).

I still think its too early to say nations have dealt with/better prepared for the second wave than the first. But yeh, when do you think we can judge that? End nov/early dec?

It could be a spike again but will likely be delayed longer than usual as everyone is better prepared.

The lag is usually about 1 month after infection to death time. During the first wave it was closer together due to less testing not picking up many cases. The ratio is also not 1 to 1 due to more testing now. And better preparedness in hospitals should slow down the death rate.

But it's still likely to rise. Based on everything I've learned my best guess is that the deaths will rise drastically about 1 month after peak. But there's always a chance the rise won't be drastic based on a number of factors. Fingers crossed.

Us cracked 100,000 cases again with over 1100 dead, Spain 1600 dead? Not sure what's going on there maybe revised but that takes world wide death total in 24hrs to 10,000 dont think there's ever been a day recorded this big

Look at somewhere like Poland .. 5% of total cases in a single day, this far in.
Only beginning first wave. Scary shit!
So the usa very well likely in the next 10 days will be getting a million cases a week . what type of strain will that have on the medical system? And the covid deniers who complain someone had heart disease or cancer anyway so it shouldn't be counted with covid death what are their thoughts with covid patients overwhelming the medical system and people without it cant seek medical attention and die?
Hopefully it doesn't pan out that way but by Xmas the usa could be cracking over 2000 deaths a day ,and you will still have people saying its not as bad as march.

Probably look at it like trickle down economics - not going to affect (get to) them ...
Texas hitting ~10K cases on the daily - sad state of affairs for many friends and former colleagues.

but #firefauci will likely result in that final swerve of turning the corner ;)
