There was an incident right in front of where we were sitting. I think Waddle may have received another head knock as he came out of a tackle looking wobbly. He then stood in no man's land basically well behind the marker but not in the defensive line and then lurched around a bit - lucky to not get pinged for being offside.

Having said that, he has done the kind of cr@p you have described many times so I am certainly not saying a potential head knock was an excuse. I personally think he is a liability to the team - generally puts in some effort but is just not a first grade footballer. Probably pretty solid reserve grade player.
