With a bit of chilli or garlic sauce and you have a 10/10!

Basic chicken soup.

Get a whole chicken & chop into quarters.

Get a bunch of soup vegetables (Carrots, onion, swede, turnip, potato, garlic)

Place in a large pot, add a chicken stock cube and fill with water. Bring to boil & then simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours.

Remove chicken to cool. Remove vegetables. Strain remaining soup.

Place soup back to simmer. Shred chicken and add back to soup. Beat a couple eggs and add while stirring soup. Place soup noodles (egg vermicelli) & cook for 10 mins. Serve.

For better flavour add a couple chicken carcases for more flavour.

I usually make 2 pots without the noodles and let it cool so I can freeze it in small containers. When ready reheat and add noodles to suit.

Being a wog I also add a shredded spring onion & a chopped chilli in my own bowl for some heat. Great winter food!

Ill be giving that a crack as soon as it gets colder
The great thing about it is you can do it with beef, lamb, pork or even fish heads & add any vegetables you like. A couple of Asian herbs / spices / sauces work well as well.

The only limit is your imagination.
