ALSO THIS SKIN COSTS $30 AND I WILL BUY IT
Yep. That's the one major caveat. That said, I can't think of any recent non-Indie game that hasn't had DLSS. And I'm sure it won't take long until all new release triple A games have DLSS 4.NVIDIA should put a huge big asterisk beside that 5070 vs 4090 claim. That will only be with dlss enabled on games that support it. The new dlss 4 can generate 3 frames now vs 1 frame previously (maximum of 4x the perceived rendering frame rate vs 2x for the older cards). Actual hardware spec wise, the 5070 will be way behind the 4090. The 4000 series will get dlss 4, but the multi frame generation will only be working on the 5000 series.
Without any frame generation tech enabled, you would think the new cards might be up to 20-25% faster than the model they are replacing, obviously give or take. No doubt there will be some real numbers start hitting the web as testers get their hands on them
Best to get a Quest 3. Technically the PSVR 2 on PC is better quality, but the Quest 3 can be used wirelessly on its own or wirelessly on PC. And if you use it wirelessly stand-alone you can use it with only one controller so you can keep one hand free. I have found that most helpful when I want to interact with VR but also do some gardening, or have a game of badminton.I also want to get VR, not for weird stuff btw I promise.
Would
Yeah, nVidia is really bad with that sort of thing. There was many complaints years back because any game nVidia partnered with would artificially lower the FPS counts when you ran a benchmark with an AMD card.nvidia is known to bump up the numbers in their favour, best to wait till real world reviews and comparisons.
yeah that is true, although some people don't like frame generation. It will be interesting what the input and the game in general feels like when you are visually running the game up to 4x faster than what it is actually running at with dlss 4 and the 5000 series.Yep. I think DLSS or FSR is nearly required now days. I have an RTX 4080 Super and most games I've played lately I can't get a decent framerate without DLSS. Some of them are funny though. For example, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle runs good with DLSS on, but they have a separate option for Frame Generation and if you turn it on, the game tanks.yeah that is true, although some people don't like frame generation. Nah, but I had a PS4 Pro that had that issue. Sometimes it just needs a lens clean. For the PS4 Pro, I had to replace the laser in the disc drive.Anyone dealt with a Xbox series X not reading game discs?
Would you believe a hard reset did the trick? Typical Microsoft lolNah, but I had a PS4 Pro that had that issue. Sometimes it just needs a lens clean. For the PS4 Pro, I had to replace the laser in the disc drive.
But it depends if it's not reading any disc or just one disc. If it's one disc, it's probably scratched or damaged in some way. If it doesn't read any disc, then it's likely a dirty laser, or a laser alignment issue, or a faulty laser.

I will look into it, should've done it during the sales but forgot all about it. I wanna play those crazy sword games I keep seeing.Best to get a Quest 3. I'll allow it.
I've gotten partway to developing this technology with a couple of scents in conjunction with X Box. So far I do BO and the essence of fart fairly well during a full days gaming session.
Yeah, kinda. Sony patented the tech a while back and it lead to people thinking that they would use it with their controllers. Turns out that they're using it for live experiences. Like the VR experiences you see around. It gives you a live experience where you can hear and smell the enemies from popular games. They showed it off at CES the other day.
