It's not a Sony exclusive. Rockstar has confirmed that it'll release on PS5 and Xbox at the same time. But there's a rumour that all GTA 6 marketing will have the Sony/Playstation logos.

I'm sure I heard it was after the first clip was released, haven't read up on it at all after that.

Any way PS5 and Series X will run it at 30fps, can't see it doing 60 fps on that hardware.

They just announced the new GPUs that will be super powerful and super cheap compared to the others. Wait a couple of months then buy one of them.

Thats why you don't spend 3k on a GPU ever.

I'd personally wait until AMD release their cards because they are always better value for money.

Factor in the other PC hardware, monitor, speakers, keyboard and a mouse and youre looking at well over 3k.

Benefit of keyboard and mouse, games like that require a high hz monitor (240), most kids will be console players with super fast reflexes.

Could get 120hz on the PS5 pro assuming the game supports it.

Also need to be playing hardwired internet.

Yh the PS5 pro is pretty much locked @ 120hz while on the PS5 it runs "up to 120hz". I haven't checked what it actually sits at while playing though, will look later. Yh I'm wired now, only 19ms though but I haven't noticed any packet loss or anything like that.

19ms seems on the higher end for a local connection especially for a fps, a mmo is solid on it.

Might be able to get lower with a better provider and hardware tweek, maybe enable QoS in your router.

I think it's just the game, seems like a lot of people are getting 20-30ms at best in the menu and then having it spike in game quite a bit.

NVIDIA should put a huge big asterisk beside that 5070 vs 4090 claim. That will only be with dlss enabled on games that support it. The new dlss 4 can generate 3 frames now vs 1 frame previously (maximum of 4x the perceived rendering frame rate vs 2x for the older cards). Actual hardware spec wise, the 5070 will be way behind the 4090. The 4000 series will get dlss 4, but the multi frame generation will only be working on the 5000 series.

Without any frame generation tech enabled, you would think the new cards might be up to 20-25% faster than the model they are replacing, obviously give or take. No doubt there will be some real numbers start hitting the web as testers get their hands on them

nvidia is known to bump up the numbers in their favour, best to wait till real world reviews and comparisons.
