I'll get it when it's cheaper. I think I'll get Resident Evil Village next, looks decent enough.
Great game. Finished Resident Evil Village 6 times. It's designed to be played multiple times.

First time I finished it in just over 10 hours. They have a trophy to finish it in under 3 hours. I went for that and finished it in just over 2 hours.

Sounds good. I do remember seeing some speed runs around the 1:37 mark just after the game was released lol

FINALLY finished GTA 4 EFLC. TBOGT was the better of the 2 expansion packs IMO. I found TLAD too frustrating to be enjoyable and very short - although I will give credit to the bike handling. That was awesome.

Now, time to delete GTA 4 and Saints Row 3 from my rig (70GB combined) and make way for the 65 GB GTA 5. Yep... I've had that game for about 8 months but never gotten around to it until now.

You're in for a treat. I still jump back into GTA V occasionally and I'm stunned by how large and complex the world is.

I've heard that the size of the map is larger than GTA 4 and GTA SA combined. Is this true?

Yep. But it combines areas. So you have a main city which is heavily based on LA, then you have outskirt areas which are like their own areas. Like the desert where you first play as Trevor, or the hills.

Later in the game you get access to planes and you can fly around it. It's pretty huge.

Is there areas such as San Fierro and Las Venturas based on San Francisco and Vegas like San Andreas had or is it completely different?

@Hacky McAxe at the very start of this video we see all these Fast & Furious cars in a car park. Is there a scene in GTA 5 where we see this cut scene - I mean I'm pretty sure those cars were modified to look like F&F cars but is this a legit scene from the game?

Yh but it's GTA online, I haven't played for ages but they don't give a shit about single player.

Kind of. It's all based heavily on LA and the surrounding areas, but the areas can be vastly different.

GTA online is pretty full on. They have a lot of stuff like this.

You can do full on bank and casino heists and shit, and they keep adding heaps of content. I'm more single player myself though.

Got my first taste of GTA 5 yesterday. I must admit it's pretty good, although I would've preferred it if the controls were like GTA 4 - it takes some getting used to. I mean I redefined the keyboard keys but the phone tool is pretty tough. I like using the arrow keys on the right (left and right keys) for steering the car but that interferes when it comes to using the phone.

@Hacky McAxe any tips?

There may be a mod to help. I usually use WSAD or controller for driving.

I usually have a controller hooked up to the computer then I'll play with mouse and keyboard, then when I jump in a vehicle I'll grab the controller then play with that.

I didn't think of using both lol. I got a USB controller so I might try it. Thanks :grinning:

Side note, I prefer playing 3rd person but you can change to 1st person and set it to auto-change to 3rd person when you go into cover and drive.

Me too - prefer 3rd person. 1st person when you only see the hands/gun isn't something I like at all - even when driving.

Turn off HDR. It doesn't work on Cyberpunk. It messes everything up.
