I'll just say it cannot be a coincidence we have multiple rookies playing like top quality veterans at the same time we got a new coach. The coach and the new systems are finding and improving these blokes and that is massive.

So far under Ciraldo we've been able to celebrate three wins (although we chose not to celebrate the Tigers win because of the disaster that game became).
We even hard threw what should've been a win against the Warriors.

In the previous 5 seasons we reached the third win milestone at:
2018 - Round 10
2019 - Round 10
2020 - Round 19
2021 - Round 25
2022 - Round 14

As the kennel we will forever be bipolar with the players/results/coaching. But whether Ciraldo's coaching is stellar, or questionable but ok, thank fuck the season isn't already half, or completely over, before we've gotten a third win.

If we can get a fourth win before Round 15 we'll still be ahead of those miserable fucking seasons, lol

Winning a game with Okunbor replacing RFM in the middle is just bonkers. I can only imagine what this team like with more time in his system. If we can win 50% of our games up to origin we should be able to make a finals push when all our injured stars have returned

I don’t really rate RFM that highly and I think that Okunbor could easily become a better edge back rower in the not to distant future. Having said that RFM is a middle forward and should only be considered on an edge as a backup just like last night.

The big difference this year is that the players are not giving up in the second half. Tonight was a great example of the old Bulldog spirit.

Getting the win was great but what's even better is seeing the team fight to the very end. It took an eighty five minute preformance to win that game.

There was a lot of talk about culture in the pre season and Ciro has changed the way the team fights for moments and one another. Our best 17 is not packed with talent but we are still chalking up the wins

And if we don’t win on Friday due the short turnaround and crushing injury toll no doubt the conspiracies will re-emerge about how the NRL manipulate the draw against us (even though they don’t create it) and referees are against us, and betting agencies are fixing games and the weather was deliberately made inclement to assist the corrupt ground staff in preparing a surface that would disadvantage us and that’s without even mentioning Rupert Murdoch and his evil empire!! .

Add to that, a man in the bin for 10 minutes, penalties at one stage 5-1 to the Cowboys, plus their multiple repeat sets, possession running their way in the second half 60%, and it was a great win.
