A dislocation is simply a result of falling on a limb in a way that pops it out, this is more a sign of " shit happens " than being injury prone.

His injury history is with his knee, this has nothing to do with that.

but we have a great rehab program......or so some donut said on here the other day
The judge of that will be how his knee holds up..... you can't pre-rehab a dislocated shoulder.

*throws hands in the air*

Hooray ... finally some common sense in here.

Unless he's done some ligament damage, or majorly chipped some bone when it's dislocated, he'll have a bit of swelling, and should be right for next week.

Like they alway say with dislocations, if it pops back in that's a very good sign. It's when it can't go back in again, that you should be worried.

Physios at the game said he could have played the game and come back on, but best not to risk it.

Through my experience i dread to say that hed be gone for the year. Hel need surgery/reco for sure. Once you have disl your shoulder twice in a set period of time the docs have no advice other than to operate. Trust me ive done both shoulders, i fcukn hate that inj. Feel very bad for the bloke. Hes just so unlucky. If mbye goes thru, draws the fullback and passes to him he scores untouched.
maybe hes just not meant to play footy neither he or his bro

Im torn .... he has never let us down... I know its an accident but hell if Mybe doesn't panic and draws the fullback before passing, Chase would never have been put in that position. If Josh Morris was their he would have just steam rolled the fullback... can't wait to have him back.

Yea, but generally, when you dislocate a joint, it's never quite the same. Usually the edges of the socket get damaged and it becomes easier to dislocate in the future.
Poor guy. Incredible talent. Frail body.

no but he (dunno if it was you) was saying that we should sign up all these injury prone fringe first graders cheap because we have a great rehab program.......has worked well for chase plays one game then misses the next 5 with injury, he's a decent enough player....just more fragile than T-rex's feelings

You can have say weak joints, which will make you prone to injury more than if you had strong joints. Some people have joints that dislocate a lot easier than others. Chase cant be considered core team, because hes not likely to play every match. hes a reserve. Morris back will make up the numbers out wide.

It's sad because Stanley has that touch. The one where he just seems to always make the right decisions and hardly makes mistakes.

I don't know many players with worse luck than he. Probably only his brother comes to mind.

Poor guy so unlucky ,if mbye held that pass a bit longer
That was so frustrating. The kid, I hope, leans to back himself and never makes a mistake like that again. He's good, young Moses, but I guess the empahasis is on YOUNG.

What is with everyone blaming Mbye? If Stanley pulls up just short and cuts back inside he doesn't dislocate the shoulder and we get the try for sure. Mbye has played half a dozen first grade games and Stanley has played a lot more, he should have known to do that more than Mbye passing early.

Why wasn't Stanley playing centre in the first place is the real question?

Mbye the poor kid had no idea what he was doing.

Unfortunate, but a good centre would have drawn the fullback, and if not, a good winger would have stepped before the line considering the pace Moylan was moving.

We really are our own worst enemies.

Yep it's moments like that, that show what happens when you have players out of positions.

any update on his injuryyy
According to The Sunday Footy Show, the latest update is that he's still waiting for results, however he's more than likely out for the season.

Our best option at wing. Safe under the high ball, great footwork and skill, strong finisher. Really hope he doesnt miss too much footy. With him and morris on one side and lafai and thompson on the other, its the best backline we have available
