Who ever said we were the only ones? No-one.
There’s clearly two clubs with space bidding for the services of Luai, even though you said you ‘knew’ the Bulldogs had signed him and on ‘big overs’ (you ‘knew’ SFA). Equally, Gus has made it clear we need an experienced middle forward. So sure, you don’t pay overs to someone punted from their club desperately searching for short term success like we did for TPJ - but you might well pay more to secure someone the quality of AFB, doubly so when it’s going to bridge the gap of our young fellas coming through. Not exactly rocket science Flipper, a question only of how much.
