I went there 10 years ago but it was at the end of December.
When it rained it was for 5 minutes then it would stop.
The Tropics have sh!t weather

when I was there the rain made things worse,
It was humid as all **** and the rain made it like a sauna!

I was there 10 years ago when I was at a lower altitude
One thing I really thought was cool about North Queensland at the time was they didn't care if 16 year olds went to clubs or didn't care if they drank in pubs

I don't get it.

Maybe a 4th time will help me understand.

used to live in cairns, humid as ****. mould grows in the house, clothes don't dry on the line, and when it rains it makes things hotter (only rains for a brief period and then all the steam comes up off the road). feb is by far the worst month for weather, as it is cyclone season, so it does rain a lot.

cairns has something like a 40% unemployment rate since the GFC hit and tourism has all but died. you can go rami, they should've put the power back on by then lol
