Opinion BULLDOGS WHAT WE DID RIGHT AGAINST THE BRONCOS round 21

Our execution in pinning them down there end, controlling momentum and always having advantage whether slight or large is what impressed me today. We’re relentless, no side turns up how we do set to set without drop of. No one has outworked us this year even in losses utterly astounded how fit the side is.

It’s a different feeling, even to when we weren’t shit all those years ago. Ciraldo has the Midas touch.

was great to see we won against a full strength broncos at their home ground.

winning without critta was a good boost as well, shows we are not useless without him and his leadership
great game all in all, and need to keep it up

Walsh try was a terribly lazy effort from Burto.
Xerri was out of position and staggered the defensive line and then surprisingly didn't show good speed to tackle Staggs...I thought he would have had him covered.

We can't be perfect I guess.
Burto wasn't lazy he rushed up to cut Walsh off from getting to the outside. Xerri would've had Staggs if he didn't jog alongside the other cb player who he assumed was going to make the tackle. By the time he got on his bike Staggs was pretty much at full speed

Best moments all game for me... morrin going after that grubby little **** mozer after he took out curran's leg and presto working walsh's ribs in the first few sets. Brought back great vibes from doggies teams of the past.

Very much so up winning up there by 41 points feels really good really sweet!!!! Might even spoil myself today !!!!!!

Even though ive never liked the bloke, has allways rubbed me the wrong way, im guessing jason taylor has had some good input into our rise, so kudos to him as well.

And id have to mention tracey sexton and curran as the best three, but that was probably the best team performance by a canterbury team i can remember.

You & David Fa'alogo both. Lol

Our boys were like Ants. Just turning up in numbers to bring down the bigger prey. If one fell off a tackle, two more would rush in. They were absolutely relentless.
Great analogy

We always play better when preston and Skelton play, coincidence or?

Mann is so underrated. The link role he plays, his ability to dig into the line so deep. Absolute weapon.
This 1000%. He also whacks in defence, never misses and has great technique.

He has excellent judgement with ball in hand, he knows instinctively when it’s time to push into the line or when there’s something brewing and needs to link it all up.

Just another brilliant example of our recruitment this year.

We played with heart. We lacked talent, but you rarely win games just by showing up. Shows the broncos are fractured and we are together. We were missing some of our best players too which makes it even bigger. Imagine we beat the cowboys, raiders and souths...... Heck even storm...... We would be up in the pointy end of the table.

Factor the turn around from last year..... I know many will hate admitting it but credit where credit is due. Ciro and his defensive system and his teams buy in is insane.
We lost the Cowboys, Raiders and Souths games by a total of 10 points. Throw in Storm and Panthers which we lost by a total of 8 points, that’s five games we’ve lost by a total of three converted tries. We win all of those and we are very likely top of the table right now…

Bonks made under 1300 run metres, we've done that quite a few times this season to other teams. Kept them below 35m a set on average, and that is despite them have a 3.14s average PTB.

What a game boys and girls one to love and be proud of
attack was great spread to the ball our speedters
Defensive was great
Moved up quickly and they had they had no answers and scored points!!!

CIRO YOUR BUILDING SOMETHING SPECIAL

LETS KEEP UP THE POSITIVITY !!!!
Wait until they have built up the team with the juniors coming through the ranks. The next few years are looking very promising.
