Will be interesting to see the trends in the trials - imo teams that are using a middle as a ball player - unless that player has genuine skill as is the case with Yeo - rnd up with a poor attack - the attack becomes stymies as the middle often lacks the agility n skill to play the role effectively at speed - they end up slowing things down or stopping n propping and become easy targets for the defence. In the jun reps iv watched edges have been getting very little ball which was happening in higher grades second half of last year. IMO Jake T slowed Manlys attack, De Belin slowed the St George attack, Klemmer at the Tigers etc - slow/ hesitant in the decision making n limited skill in passing.
