Official Bulldogs vs Tigers - Sunday 5:30pm

Kurtis Morrin is Brad Morrins nephew. But I think Hayes had a grandfather that played for us at some point. And Bailey Hayward is related to Paul Hayward that briefly had a career with Newtown jets before he got busted trying to smuggle drugs and spent 13 years in a Thailand prison.
Pretty sure they wrote a book about their time in the Thai prison. .great book.

Papalii looked good last night for Parra. I do think his size will his biggest hand break on a successful NRL career. But he was one I would have liked to see stay.

I agree, shame he left but i think there was just something the club didnt like. Whether it was his size, his defence or his non filtered old man.

Told you ages ago the club didn't rate him that highly :tearsofjoy:

It's called "Damage done" if my memory is still working. But it was also published under a different name. Something far less catchy like 10,000 days in a Thai prison. And I agree it is a great read.

You picked this one... Honestly though something mustve happened for him to leave and i do suspect his father.
I don't know, all I know is that they didn't rate him high enough @ fullback and were looking at other options. Seems like Tia might be a smokey now for that utility type role moving forward, think he's previously played centre before and could probably play through the middle too.

No Blake Wilson tomorow. Late withdrawal.
Hopefully means he's assured starting spot and Ciro don't want to risk him .... Dreaming I know.

Not hard working panther system FB. Sits back and doesn't do much waiting for his moments. In NSW junior rep games he really lack involvement also.

Kid is a weapon in attack, non existent in D.. Probs why they were happy to invest elsewhere.

Tia has plenty of promise... Hardly puts a foot wrong but has plenty of rocks and diamonds in his game. I havent really seen him d up so cant comment much on that but in regards to the ute role, if anything its between your man Jboy and Bailey, depends on the game I reckon, Tia might break through in a couple.... very early days for the kid.

Is say half the bench is locked too
Curran and Sitili are definitely I'd say. Question is who will be the 14 - Hayward or fish boy and the last spot has about 5 or so possibilities.
Based on what I have seen, that is actual NRL and NSW Cup games last year and from what I get from news articles there should quite a few spots up for grabs. However your probably right that CC already has most the side picked. Anyway to start the year I think only
1. Tracey
2. Kiraz
3. Crichton
4. Xerri
6. Burton
7. Sexton
8. King
9. Mahoney
11. Kikau
12. Preston/Tupouniua
13. Mann/Curran
14. Mann?
15. Tupouniua?
should be assured spots, who should take one wing spot is open to debate, but in will be Montoya. Who should play 13 is open to debate but Mann and Curran will both make the side. Both Preston and Tupouniua will both make the side . Anyway for mine at least two bench spots might still be up for grabs. It will come down to Haywood, Salmon, Hayes, Hughes, DSF, Amone and Todd.
