I'd actually expect more ball-running from Flanagan in this game. There is plenty of space around the Raiders' ruck.
Reynolds and Gray are getting in there. Why doesn't Flanagan?

Raiders have a few more out than us. But we still have reason to be optimistic for the season given the eye test and commitment in defence

Good signs from a lot of players but biggest thing....the defence. Only try they got was a rebound off the goal post in their favour. 1 missed tackle all half.

And Okunbor. No catch drops, no missed tackles, try, try assist. Mahoney looks like exactly what we needed.

Mahoney obviously making a massive difference with our attack. The defence has been exceptional with very few missed tackles. Gota give that half a 9 out of 10. Look out once we have Kikau on an edge and burton and addocarr in this side.
