Prop, lock, it doesn’t matter, there is no way Todd is ready mentally or physically for NRL level intensity week in week out. He simply doesn’t have the experience for it.No ....not only at Prop.
Let's start him at 13.
Maybe bring him back for his 2nd stint at prop?
Todd start at 13 - 20-25 mins
Mann at 13 - rest of game ( or most of it )
Todd return as prop - 60-80 minutes
Max n Sam pick up 50 minutes each ...however you want to design it?
Max - 0-30 then 60- 80
Sam - 0-20 then 40-60
Morrin /Harry / JC - 20-60
That's just a simple plan.
Todd was meant to debut last year before his injury , Gould had tweeted about it.Prop, lock, it doesn’t matter, there is no way Todd is ready mentally or physically for NRL level intensity week in week out. He simply doesn’t have the experience for it.
Where exactly are you playing Curran? You have all 80 mins of 2 x prop and 1x lock taken up with King, Hughes, Todd and Mann. Are you playing Curran in the 2nd row?
Ditto Morrin and Hayes? If you are using them in the 2nd row where does TupounIla’s minutes fit? Assuming Kikau and Preston both play close to 80 mins. Even if they both play 60 mins it doesn’t fit.
Who is the relief for Mahoney if he needs a break? Haywood is the most likely, but you have run out of bench spots.

I have zero doubt that he will play some NRL games, but expecting him to play week in week out at NRL intensity is unrealistic.Todd was meant to debut last year before his injury , Gould had tweeted about it.
my heart fuckin sunk until i saw the date, please attach it to your comment next time![]()
I disagree, he's 22 years old. He's done he's time in NSW cup. He's talented and big enough. I reckon he is up for it.I have zero doubt that he will play some NRL games, but expecting him to play week in week out at NRL intensity is unrealistic.

Slight difference there.Didn’t Jacob Preston play 20 first grade games in his rookie year as a 21 year old?
That would make Jack Todd older when he does debut. Not too unrealistic to suggest he could do the same. Not sure he will myself, wait and see.
Having had the opportunity to watch him a fair bit in lower grades and looking forward to having him in the 17 when he does get the shot.
They must be keen for the games to get started
pretty obvious that was going to happen lol
Be nice if Kikau tormented Kyle all night.Going to be a wet night next Saturday. We play our footy, good line speed. We’ll suffocate them. Illias and Flanagan won’t be able to kick them out of their own end.

We might struggle to score tries in the wet also haha. Especially if our attack is anything like it was in trial v BroncosGoing to be a wet night next Saturday. We play our footy, good line speed. We’ll suffocate them. Illias and Flanagan won’t be able to kick them out of their own end.
Todd has only played 18 NSW Cup games in 3 years. If he had played a whole season, or close to a whole season, last year in NSW Cup then maybe he could stand up to the intensity of NRL level week in week out. But he hasn't, in fact he has never played a whole season in NSW Cup so I think it might be bit much to expect him to play a whole season in the NRL.It’s like no rookie has ever played a season of NRL in the past…
