Alamoti is putting up far better numbers than Burton last time I checked and he had a match tying touch last night. Without such good hands, we lose that game. Btw, he has played only 5 games.

I have nothing against Averillo, but he cleary is the weakest of our centre/wings. He had more impact at the back and I’d rather him there. Perham could actually be a good centre, but Ciro likes his organisation from the back so he probably won’t change anything.

Just watched the highlights again.
Re the FG it was a reasonably rough pass he copped and he only finesses it too not full launch which was smart.
Still travelled what a good 45m at least from that angle? with accuracy, a fukn great shot.

With Flanagans attacking style and ball playing yeh we get nothing from him but credit where credit is due, he made a couple one on one try saving tackles on the Cows forwards last night that were crucial and the pass from dummy half he provided to Burton for that winning field goal was spot on, it gave Burton the time to set up. Personally I think Flanagan should bulk up a little and move to hooker because he shows signs in the areas mentioned above to be a better hooker than he is a half.

Not denying it he is a good defender and also agree for most of the game he was ok but let's be realistic ok isn't going to win us grand finals, the problem he isn't doing enough in attack to take the pressure off Mahoney and Burton as a result they will be easier mark, it would be interesting to see if he succeeds at 9, but not at the price he is on now.
