Shame no Danny Williams again. You would have thought he would have come up to show what he has got. Poor kid cant get a start. Showed some signs of promise his first year then has fallen off the raider. Had a solid season last year and the excuse for him not playing was salary cap related. Dont see how a trial is anything to do with salary cap. And he could always play 30 mins of first grade trial then another 30 in reserves. Good looking team though. Hopefully we can build into good form for round 1.

Fkn quality alright. I think this will pretty much be our starting 17.

The million dollar question though is - who takes the 4 spots on the bench?
Well for me it will be:

Barba, Paea/Armit, Halatau, Gordon

My bench, Paea, Barba, Hickey, Buddy.

Barba, Paea/Armit, Halatau, Gordon
This would be my bench considering the Halatau is starting and Warburton isn't:

Gordon
Barba
Paea
Armit

I really hope Warburton makes the squad though - I fkn love him. I just don't see him fitting in the squad. Tadpole will surprise us as usual.

dog that is the bench, there is only room for halatau or aggro, as we need 2 props on the bench if we play someone like Barba. but we need someone like that, that was what was missing later in the seasoni

I would have liked to see Junior moved to wing and Steve Turnstyle shifted into fullback and put Patten on the bench.

Just to see how our backup option runs.

Yileen gordon has a guarenteed spot in the side somewhere
pretty sure gary warburton will get a run too.
i'd have Jarrad Hickey & Ben Barba for the final two bench spots

Yileen has pretty much secured himself a bench spot for the first half of the season I would think after his efforts end of last year.

it is new season facebraker, it all comes down to the trial form and more importantly the balance of the team. You could argue that Aggro also demands a bench spot, but i think you can only carry one of those 2 players if we play barba on the bench

I can't see Barba getting a bench spot unless it's a team with poor attack/defence.

Strong side, though I'm curious why Heka was named... give our depth in the backline.

Does Moore see something in him we don't?

people seem to be forgetting that Kevin Moore has stated that Barba is guaranteed the 1st 5 rounds to show what he has got. Pretty much if he performs it will go a long way to getting resigned, if he doesnt it could be out the door
